Graduation 2014: Ildikó Valicsek
Loyal readers of design is so already met Ildikó Valicsek’s name: we asked her as a freshly graduated student to design our header in July. For the task she used Overlap, a brilliantly simple, yet complex system of layers, patterns and colors – her graduation project. Now it’s time to get to know Overlap a bit deeper!
Overlap is a layered pattern system, 5 basic layers, which can generate more and more patterns, an endless pattern collection. The pattern collection can be used like a font, that’s why I used the A, B, C, D and E codes.There is five collections of patterns, basic, striped, checked, figured and offset patterns.
